4 more reasons to join our team in Carrigtwohill:
1. We value diversity, equity and inclusion
Stryker has 9 ERGs – 4 of which have local chapters in Cork - Stryker Women’s Network, Stryker’s Emerging Professionals, Women in Science and Engineering and Stryker Allies for Equality. Employees are encouraged to get involved and broaden their knowledge and foster an inclusive community. WISE in Anngrove recently attended iWISH. iWISH is a community dedicated to showcasing the power of science, technology, engineering, and maths to teenage girls. This annual event aims to introduce girls all over Ireland to the possibilities that STEM careers can offer.
2. Flexibility matters
Need to WFH sometimes? We've got you covered with a case-by-case work-from-home policy. Many roles operate on a hybrid model, meaning you'll need to be on-site at least 4 days a month but can work remotely beyond that.
3. Commitment to sustainability
We work to create a healthier world not only through our products and services, but also through our commitments to responsible operations. At Stryker, our growth is fueled by innovation and rooted in the understanding that human health relies on the health of our planet. All of our manufacturing sites use 100% renewable energy generated by wind turbine farms.
4. We love our community
One of the many things that makes Stryker unique is our ability to come together in support of our communities. Whether it’s through giving or volunteering, our employees are driven by their desire to improve where they live and work. With a focus on advancing healthcare, supporting education, improving environmental health and enriching community culture, our employees find opportunities throughout the year to help strengthen their communities.
Examples include:
Fundraising days: Each year, our employees host a number of fundraising events to help support local charities. Events range from baking competitions to children’s colouring competitions – there is a way for every member of the family to get involved and help support.
Beach clean up day: Each year a number of our employees head to one of our local beaches in Cork to participate in a clean-up. Employees spend the day at the beach picking up any litter that does not belong.
