9 reasons to join the Clinical Specialist team at Stryker

Updated: Oct 11

From pre-op to post-op, the Clinical Specialist supports surgical outcomes with product expertise, dynamic problem solving and clinical knowledge. Clinical Specialists at Stryker are responsible for providing clinical preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative surgical support. Preoperative work includes setting up operating rooms, ensuring all instruments are properly prepared for surgery and preparing the preoperative planning software. Intraoperative support includes ensuring imaging, software and instruments are ready for use and troubleshooting product issues promptly. And postoperatively, they support the staff by breaking down instruments, providing education and staff in-service trainings on our products, and facilitating repairs, preventative maintenance and software updates on equipment. Clinical Specialist positions are aligned to relationships with specific hospitals and provide case coverage to that hospital. They also support their territory for other activities that may arise. Every Clinical Specialist’s responsibility varies based on the size of their territory.
